September 7, 2004 Meeting Minutes

In attendance were David Ashby, Dee Duncan, Lynda Fickling, Ken Fong (taking minutes), Laura Kuhl (presiding), and Jerry McLeland.

We reviewed the action items from the last meeting:

Ken Fong verified with Janet Forbes that she wanted one of her sermons included in the updated CD.

Ken said that Dave Cupp had volunteered to build the Guest Services Center (no target date).

The team picked blue paper for the Invitation Card instructions. We will print 400 and Ken will leave the originals with Lynda.

The plans for introduction of the Invitation Cards and instructions at the September 12th service and Ministry Fair were reviewed and approved by the staff and Janet.

Lynda Fickling volunteered to pick up the Invitation Cards from Columbine.

Various members of the team will arrive early on September 12th to begin stuffing three Invitation Cards into each instruction sheet. Various members of the team are still working on volunteers to hand out the Invitation Cards and instructions, including themselves. David will be soliciting help from more Youth. Lynda will coordinate distribution of the cards. We will begin setting up the ET booth for the Ministry Fair at 8:30 on the 12th.

Ken will be getting a new (free) Igniting Ministries kit to replace the missing booklet in the present kit.

Pam Rowley asked to be dropped from the official ET roster, but would like to continue receiving minutes from the meetings.

Jerry McLeland has ordered two more guest parking signs.

Ken is still targeting October for a first version of the new CD to be given to visitors.

Dan Raap and Dan Kuhl have volunteered to start the Signage Evaluation Team.

The team put together an initial budget for 2005:

Tote bags $1,000

Invitation Cards $1,000

CD $500

Bread labels, red visitor bags $500

Signs, Guest Services Center, nametags $500

External evangelism resources / training $3,000

Total $6,500
