Media, Sound, and Lighting Team Lead

Title: Media, Sound, and Lighting Team Lead

Purpose: Provide media, sound, and lighting support to the various activities at St Luke’s

Responsible to: Clergy Team, Music and Arts and those who organize the events

Description of Duties:
Provide media, sound, and lighting support to activities
Provide training for use of the media, sound, and lighting equipment
Provide installation and maintenance labor for the media, sound, and lighting equipment
Attend quarterly Common Table gatherings

Time Requirements:

  1. Music and Arts presentations (Plays, concerts, )

Time: Concentrated run of two to three weeks, every evening
and weekend before a big show 3 to 5 hrs

  1. Worship Service audio and slide show operations.

Time: Twice to three services a month during the services

  1. Maintenance of cables and equipment.  Time: during available free time to do at home
  2. Service slideshow preparation           Time: Once a month, 1 to 2 hrs
  3. As needed video shooting and editing                      

Time: as required with own equipment

Term: 2yrs or as long as you are enjoying your role

Training and Resources:
Training by prior lead. Train others as needed and as they join the team.

Skills and gifts:
Background in theater, engineering, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting
Unlimited amounts of free time
