Hello Everybody!
What a wonderful weekend we have in store! We continue our "Sounds Like St. Luke's" series with a sermon based on a song that spent some time in the Top 40 and special music shared by SonRise.
Matisyahu
is a Hasidic Jewish reggae/hip hop musician. No, you didn't mis-read
that. He has a vision that reminds me of John Wesley and I want to share
their connection with you in a sermon called, "If We Believe It Not
Possible..." To see this week’s bulletin:

Please remember that we are also blessing backpacks for all of
our children returning to school- whether they will be in Sunday School
or Worship, have them bring their backpacks.
And if you haven't yet, please register
for one of the many classes we are
offering this fall- they start in mid-September. (That address is

if the link didn't show up for you.)
Don't forget Family Movie Night tonight at 6:45pm. Join us for "The
Princess & The Frog" - hope to see you there. Remember popcorn is
provided but feel free to bring other snacks or drinks (no colorful
liquids please.)
You are also invited to an information meeting for the Spring Guatemala
Mission Trips, March 11-20 and March 18-27. The meeting is with Team
Leaders, John Williams and Laura Richards, at 12:00 in Room 189, this
Sunday.
I really hope you will join us as we worship together this weekend.
Be Blessed and Be a Blessing,
Rev. Brad
