Would you be interested in a 1-week educational/service mission trip to:

UMCOR Depot, Salt Lake City, Utah, to help process relief supplies – light work, learn about the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
United Methodist Primetimers educational/service trip to Salt Lake City, “Being Methodist in a Mormon Place,” - work in the UMCOR Depot, visit the Great Salt Lake, hear talks by LDS representatives. September 8-15, 2012. Cost is $900 per person for housing, meals, local transportation.
United Methodist Primetimers educational/service trip to McAllen, Texas, “Walking the Stations and Remembering,” – physically walk the Stations of the Cross (3/4 mile), work with immigrants, learn about people in Mexico, experience culture, learn about ministries of justice, mercy, faith and hope. March 18-25, 2012. Cost is $1000 for housing, meals, local transportation.
Glean the fields in Alamosa in late September, 2012 – visit La Puente’s different, ministries, eat at the LaPuente shelter, pick up potatoes for 1-2 hours. Optional side trips to see the Great Sand Dunes and the Sand Hill cranes. On previous trips we have always taken the potatoes to Denver Inner City Parish.

These trips are in addition to our annual St. Luke’s mission trips to Guatemala, which we highly recommend for older adults. For more information on Guatemala, contact Laura Richards 303-791-6038 or email Laura.
