This is your opportunity to partner with other local ministry leaders and Church Volunteer Central to form an ongoing, hands-on, regional equipping network in the Denver Metro area. The purpose of this Team CVC network is to support, encourage, and learn from each other so that we may effectively equip volunteers for ministry. The network will meet quarterly to receive training, support, and resources. Participants will then be equipped to implement the training material in their own church. Other take-home resources may include articles, forms, and product samples.
Our first network opportunity will be Thursdays, September 9, 10:00am-noon (*if you stay for lunch~1:00pm) at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 8817 S. Broadway, Highlands Ranch. The subject of this session will be presented by Bob D’Ambrosio of Group Publishing’s, Church Volunteer Central (CVC) and will be "Biblical Foundations for Equipping." Future topics will include "Assessing Your Church’s Culture for Equipping", "Who Am I As a Leader?" "The Role of Leadership in Equipping", and other themes on building an equipping church. *Bring your lunch for a roundtable discussion after the session.
The workshop is free to anyone participating from a church that’s a member of Church Volunteer Central. Non-member churches may send participants for an annual network fee of $25. First time guests are welcome to attend at no cost.
