Help for the St. Luke's Event
Calendar
To see all events, select "All" in the Category drop down box.
You may also limit the display of events to special categories, such as "Youth",
"Children," and "Little School" (our pre-school).
To add a calendar entry, you will first need a login id and password; contact
the webmaster. Then click on the plus sign on the date
for the entry (in Month View).
Under the "Details" tab, enter:
"Brief Description" -- This will be displayed on the calendar
"Full Description" – This will be displayed when someone hovers over
the entry or clicks on it. Please include a the name of a contact
for the event
"Date" – The default is to show the event as an "All
day event," with no time. If you want a time to show for the event, select "Timed
event" in the "Untimed event" drop down box and enter the starting time
and, optionally, the duration (if no duration is entered, no ending time
will be listed).
If you want the event to be listed in one of the Categories (e.g.,
"Children") select it in the "Category" drop down box. All events will
show up when the user selects Category=All.
Under the "Participants" tab, click on "Public Access"
If the event is repetitive, enter under the "Repeat" tab:
In the "Repeat Type" drop down box, select the repetition interval.
Check the "Repeat End Date" box and select the appropriate end date.
Enter "1" in the "Frequency" box.
For events which repeat weekly, check the appropriate day of the week
for "Repeat Day."
