Confirmation is offered once a year to 8th grade and older youth and their parents who would like to be confirmed in the United Methodist faith. There is also a retreat. Our 10-session curriculum explores the basics of Christianity, Methodism, St. Luke's as a church, and the importance of developing your own personal faith and relationship with God. This class equips youth and their parents with the tools to build a successful relationship with each other and the church while encountering important questions of faith and spiritual formation. At the end of the class sessions, the youth have the choice and opportunity to become a confirmed member of the United Methodist Church. Attendance is required at each class. There is a cost associated with this class, and scholarships are available if needed.
