Feeding of the 5000 is our annual food drive to support FERN (the Food Exchange Resource Network) and St. Andrew Market. FERN supports many food pantries in the Denver metro area and acts as the food bank that these food pantries rely on. St. Andrew Market helps bridge the hunger gap and offers everyday household necessities in a free, safe, and low-barrier market where families can shop for supplemental food, diapers, and hygiene items in Arapahoe County.
Volunteers are the key to making this community food drive successful. We try to make signing up as easy as possible. View volunteer opportunities sorted by role with descriptions below.
You will receive a welcome email once you sign up. If you don't receive it, please check your spam folder. Emails with details will be sent the week prior to the event. Watch for them in your inbox! If you have any questions, please contact the Feeding of the 5000 team.
