With the support of the Executive Team, we are proposing to install rooftop solar panels at St. Luke's:
- To care for our environment in a spiritually and fiscally responsible way
- Reduce our electricity costs
In order to accomplish this, we need to raise $250,000 in donations. This will fund approximately half of the project. The rest will be covered by a loan. We expect most of the loan to be paid back by a federal credit.

Help us by buying one or more of the 371 panels needed for $750 each, or by donating any other amount (e.g., for donating less than 1 panel, or for large donations). You will be recognized for your purchase, and may dedicate your panel(s) in honor of a loved one.
You may also pledge an amount, to be paid in the future, by sending email to our Director of Finance to discuss details.
You may donate with:
- Credit Card or Paypal (below)
- Via your church financial account on Servant Keeper
- Venmo on your phone: select Venmo me and enter "Solar Panels" in "What's this for?"
- Check (Please include "Solar Panels" in the memo line) sent to St. Luke's UMC. Checks are especially good for larger donations, to avoid the Credit Card / Paypal fees (approximately 3%).
