Worship Series - Beginning May 31, 2015

We open this space to a new worship series where we’ll discover how our stories take shape and perspective as they transform our lives as well as those around us. Through movies, books, and musicals we’ll explore the questions: Who am I? and Whose am I? as a beloved one of God. The Pentecost and summer season offer a great time to continue to marvel at and learn about the movement of the Holy Spirit through story.

In this time of information overload, people do not need more information. They want a story they can relate to. We learn best - and change - from hearing stories that strike a chord within us. Books, movies, and plays have the power to reveal the sacred, speak with the voice of God, and ask the question, 'who and whose am I?' There is no greater power on this earth than story. People think that stories are shaped by people. In fact, it's the other way around.
